A loan of $700 helped buy materials for making shoes.

Ana's story

Ana, 41, is a very hard working woman. She lives with her family in her own house. What she wishes for the most is to give them a good quality of life.

Ana’s stall for selling shoes is located in the Laguna Temporal plaza (place where there are fairs in the city of Juliaca). But, she does not just sell shoes. She also makes them. She is very good at her work, which is why she also distributes her footwear to other sellers. What she likes the most about her work is making shoes, which she does with much effort. She has been doing this for 11 years. The most difficult part is transporting the shoes to the sales locations because she has to go to many locations.

In the future she hopes to have a very large store where she can sell the shoes she makes.

This is her fourth loan with MFP. She has paid her previous loans punctually. She expects to pay this last one on time as well. She is very active in her community bank. She will use the 2,000 PEN that she is asking for to buy new materials to make a larger quantity of shoes.
