Juan Fidel
Don Juanito, as he is known in his community, makes carpentry his principal activity. He is originally from Chimente, 42 kilometers from the municipality of Totonicapan, a community very neglected by the local and central governments. In this way, he tries to support his family.

He has visited various organizations in the state of Quiche, which is 15 kilometers away, but since he and his family are originally from the state of Totonicapan, he has not been able to obtain a loan. He visits the ASDIR offices for a loan to invest in the purchase of wood and tools.
