Honorine's story

Honorine was born on February 27, 1959 in Lomé, the capital of Togo, a country bordering Benin.  Honorine has gone to elementary school and is married to DJIWANOU Félix, a storekeeper.  She and her husband have five children.  The family lives in Tokpégbé in Cotonou, the economic capital of the Republic of Benin.  Honorine's husband is the one who ensure that household expenses are covered.

Honorine sells bread at Place le Bélier in Cotonou.  She has already benefited from four loans from ALIDé that she has repaid.  She was able to use the loans to raise her level of business.  She's requesting her fifth loan for bolstering her working capital in order to satisfy the growing demands of her customers.
