A loan of $450 helped to purchase a variety of plastic bags.

Amivi's story

Amivi sells plastic bags as she walks around town. Her business permits her to take of herself. She is not married and does not have any children to care for. She started her business in 2004 in the neighborhood of Avénou in Lomé. She mostly sells her bags to tapioca, flour, corn and other food salespeople.

Right now she does not have many bags left; this is why she is requesting a loan from the micro-finance group WAGES, in order to purchase 60 large black bags, 65 small black bags, 65 small transparent-white bags and 60 "bafana" bags for heavy objects.
