A loan helped to purchase playing and teaching material for her after-school program.

Rosemary's story

Audrey is 51-year-old woman who lives in Laterbiokorshie, a suburb of Accra. She is very fond of children and operates an after-school care program for children. She is single and has a 28-year-old daughter. She started this business three years ago to help working mothers with toddlers and also to make a living from that.

She is requesting a loan amount of 3000 GHS to help purchase additional playing materials for the children and teaching materials to improve her services in order to attract more clients. She wishes to expand and extend her services to more parents, especially working mothers.

The delay in payment of agreed fees by some parents is a challenge, but she believes this will change with time and the right tools.

This loan is special because:

It helps low-income women entrepreneurs in Ghana to grow their businesses.
