A loan of $425 helped purchase detergent.

Julia Nancy's story

Julia is a member of the Amaquella Communal Bank, "amaquella" meaning "don't be lazy" in Quechua. Julia is 45 years old, single with 2 children. She sells cosmetics through catalogs to friends and family members. She also sells footwear by request. In addition to this she also manages her mother's laundromat.
Julia needs a loan of 1200 soles which will be used to purchase detergents. Julia's dreams are to open an additional location of the laundromat and to offer a better variety of products at her businesses.
