A loan of $1,000 helped to pay for several bottles of chlorine, packs of thermal paper and maintenance of her water station.

Arlene's story

Arlene has been a hardworking woman to give her family a better quality of life. Her thermal paper business and water station business is a big help to sufficiently provide for the needs of her children, especially their education.

To sustain operations of her business, she is in need of funds to properly maintain her water station and of working capital for her thermal paper and chlorine business. Their place is now a city and is now a busy commercial and residential area, which is very good for her business. She trusts you would again consider her request.

Arlene dreams to see her children become professionals and that, someday, they could visit other countries. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week, and this is where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the word of God, build social capital and repay microfinance loans.
