A loan helped a member sell cattle.

Candela Group's story

The “Candela” communal bank will start its first cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Centro Focal Copacabana. It is composed of eight members. It is led by a board where Benita is the president.

The loan they will receive benefits small microentrepreneurs where Benita is a member. Currently, she has a business selling cattle. She learned this business through her own initiative several years ago.

The loan she receives will be used to expand the capital to purchase cattle that she will acquire from wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz. Subsequently, this will serve as a means of production for the breeding and subsequent sale of the cattle. This form of work allows her to generate resources to her family economically since she is single and she has a son.

In this group: Benita , Gimena Dionicia, Grecia, Dania , Ovidio, Wilmer, Maria Lucy , Jannet
