A loan of $750 helped buy construction materials to make a concrete wall.

Mirna Gladys's story

Mirna S., 31, lives in Laureles Norte in the capital of Managua. She is married, and her husband is a forest technician. She has two children, 5 and 7. They go to elementary school.

She sells pastry and clothes. She has been in sales for six years. She started with loans with her small community bank. Little by little, sales have been growing. Her plan is to be able to set up a bakery on a central street.

With this loan she will reinforce a wall on the inside part of her house. This will provide better security for her family.

She is grateful to the institution for the loan. This is her seventh loan cycle, and she hopes to continue with the institution. Her business, as well as her personal life, has improved.
