A loan helped to pay for three piglets and 300 kg of feed.

Delphine's story

Delphine is from the countryside. She is 55 and still active and resourceful. Separated for a very long time, she has been devoting her time to her businesses to be sure of meeting the needs of her children, who are 15 and 19 years old. With experience in raising pigs as her main source of revenues, she is collaborating with butchers in their village to sell her products.

She is a good partner of VAHATRA. She takes out loan to pay for livestock. Most of her profits are used for her children’s education and food. This loan will help her to pay for three piglets and 300 kg of feed to complete their nutrition. She will sell the pigs in six months and buy more of them. She wants to save money for her children’s education. Her hope is to have the support of lenders, whom she warmly acknowledges.
