Nadjougua Group's story

Maimouna Sadou is the woman holding the ram by the rope in the photo of the “Nadjougua” group.

She is 34 years old, married and the mother of six children, two boys and four girls. Two girls and one boy go to school. She raises animals and her husband has been farming for years. She makes her purchases in a neighboring market and resells in the same markets with earnings up to 30,000 XOF per month.

She lacks the means to expand her animal raising and properly feed her rams. At selling time moving the animals is also a problem. Therefore in order to solve her problems she is requesting a loan from RMCR which will allow her to expand her business and increase her earnings. Then she will be able to take care of the family's expenses. She likes raising animals as it allows her to make a living. She dreams of one day becoming a large scale animal raiser.
