A loan helped to open a tea house.

Israpil's story

Israpil is a 26-year-old young man from Kvemo Bolnisi. He lives with his parents.

The only source of income for the family is from small agricultural activity. Particularly, they take care of a family-owned vineyard, where Israpil and his parents harvest grapes seasonally.

However, as the income is seasonal and Israpil has no source of stable income, he finds it hard to lead the family and cover utilities and food costs.

For this reason, he decided to diversify the business and start up a small tea house, where various kinds of tea will be sold to satisfy local people's needs.

The Start Up credit will be a great support for the family, as their income will be significantly increased through Kiva lenders.

Israpil will get his own business income and tackle the financial difficulties.

This loan is special because:

It helps people in vulnerable populations start a new business.
