A loan helped to purchase tuna, oil, lard, flour, eggs, soft drinks, etc.

Alexandra Lucinda's story

The city of Portoviejo, known as the city of the Royal Tamarinds, which was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016, is located in the Portoviejo River valley. The city is rich in the production of vegetables and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Alexandra is 32 years old and a single mother of 2 children, ages 8 and 6, who study in school. They live in their own house. Alexandra has a grocery store in her house and sells all sorts of products such as rice, sugar, oils, detergents, etc. She works every day from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. She has been working at the store for 8 years. With this new loan, she will purchase tuna, oil, lard, flour, eggs, soft drinks, etc.

What she likes about the loans are that they are quick and without a lot of red tape. Her dream is to have a much larger store with many products and that her children continue studying.
