A loan of $225 helped to buy agricultural supplies for planting basic grains, so that with the profits it will be possible for his children to continue studying.

José Will's story

Jose studied until 5th grade at school. His life partner appears in the photograph with him and she is a housewife. His 2 children study and with his partner, they struggle to get ahead. His partner is his greatest source of inspiration along with his children.

José is a farmer, he learned this trade from his wife and has done it for approximately 17 years. He receives help from his wife in farming. When his children do not attend school, they also get involved.

He travels about 2 kms to reach his plot and does it on horseback. In his spare time, he bakes bread for another source of income and that helps him improve the quality of his family's life.

José will use the loan to buy agricultural supplies to plant basic grains so that with the proceeds it will be possible for his children to continue studying.

He dreams of continuing to farm and sell the grains he cultivates at a better price and thus guarantees a better quality of life for his family.
