Petrona Del Carmen's story

Petrona attended school until the ninth grade. She is in a relationship, and her partner is a day laborer. Her two children attend school.

Petrona works growing staple grains. She has ten years' experience. She learned this job from her parents. When she isn't farming she sells sodas and staple goods. The plot she farms is approximately two kilometers from her house. Her life partners helps her work when he can.

The loan funds will be invested to buy agricultural supplies to plant staple grains, so that with the sale of the harvest she will have earnings for the schooling of her children. Petrona dreams of being able to provide her children upper level schooling. She also wants to increase her production of staple grains.
