Zoraida's story

Zoraida and her husband live in Cochabamba, and are 25 and 26 years old respectively, and have been in a common-law relationship for more than 9 years with a dependent son.

Zoraida continues working in agriculture growing potatoes, fava beans, and ulluco [a tuber similar to a potato] in a 6 hectare area. She sells her products at the consolidated market at the Colomi weekly farmer’s market.

Zoraida needs a new loan to buy a dairy cow, to increase her productions.

Lastly, Zoraida and her husband were happy to have the opportunity to access the loan, because with the purchase of dairy cattle they will increase their legacy and also guarantee food security for the benefit of the family.
