A loan of $750 helped to buy clothing and various fruits.

Gloria Maria's story

Gloria S. sells clothing, shoes, and cosmetics, as well as fruits and vegetables. She is 45 years old, and lives with her husband, a radio technician, and their 11-year-old son who attends elementary school. They live in the Memorial Sandino neighborhood of Managua.

Gloria started her business with her own savings and her desire to achieve both economically and in her family. She has, since then, taken out and repaid nine loans with AFODENIC. These have been very useful both to build the business and to improve their house. With this loan, she will invest in a variety of clothing and fruits and vegetables in order to offer her customers a wide variety of products. This will be a service to the customers and will lead to increased sales.
