A loan of $500 helped to buy mangos, papayas, avocados and potatoes, among other fresh fruit and vegetables.

Lidia Sagrario's story

Lidia earns a living selling fruit and vegetables. She works every day in the areas bordering the market. With the daily income she makes, she covers her personal needs and those of her family. Lidia is currently in a relationship and has a son who depends on her and her life companion.

She needs a loan to enable her to buy mangos, papayas, avocados and potatoes, among other fresh fruit and vegetables, so as to attend to her customers' requests. She needs another portion of the money to pay for the repair of the car which she uses to go out and make her sales.

She hopes to make good use of the loan in order to have a more competitive and profitable business. Her objectives are to continue working and provide for her family.
