Comfort's story

Comfort is a forty-two-year-old woman who is married with three children who are currently in school.

Comfort is a food vendor and sells banku. Banku a local Ghanaian dish prepared from milled maize grains and it is taken with hot pepper or soup. It is believe to be a native food for the Ewe tribe in Ghana but other tribes enjoy it too. Comfort has many customers since it is enjoyed by many Ghanaian as breakfast, lunch and supper.

Comfort wants to use the loan to buy more ingredients like bags of maize, meat, fish, vegetables and firewood. She hopes to raise more income to support her children’s education.
