Sènoumè Anne's story

Sènoumè Anne was born on 26 July 1970. Anne is married to Noël, a dressmaker by profession. Anne and Noël have six children in their care. Together with her husband, Anne provides for the family. Earlier, Anne used to sell eggs. But for the past four years, Anne has been selling ready-to-eat meals. Anne actually sells maize paste and manioc paste accompanied by a sauce made from pork. Anne sells her meals at Djeffa. Anne obtains her supplies at Dantokpa, the grand international market in Benin. Anne has already received six loans through ALIDÉ (one of Kiva's field partners) for her business; Anne has repaid all of these loans properly. Anne is seeking a seventh loan through ALIDÉ to further develop her business.
