A loan of $500 helps to buy staple goods to sell in his store, and to buy agricultural supplies.

Porfirio's story

Porfirio attended school through the fifth grade. Unfortunately, he lost a hand in the country's civil war. He is in a relationship, and his partner takes care of the home. They do not have children.

Porfirio has a small store with basic goods. He set up the store ten years ago. He also grows corn and beans. He works from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

He will use the loan to buy staple goods to sell in his store. He will also buy agricultural supplies.

His dream is to have a great store and attract many customers. To achieve that he will invest his earnings well.

This loan is special because:

It helps people older than 60 who still have the capacity to work but no financing.
