Song, 38 years of age and married, is living in a rural village of Kampong Leng District of Kampong Chhnang Province. She has three children who are her dependents and are still in school. Her main sources of income are from rice farming and raising fish to sell, which she has been doing for 10 years. Her secondary source of income is from fishing. They manage to save around 10,000 KHR a day.

This is her second loan with Kiva’s partner, VisionFund. She is now leading her group to ask for a loan. As the leader, Song will use her portion to buy fish for raising. She hopes this loan will enable her to earn more income from her current business.
