A loan of $400 helps to buy another cow for production and sale of milk.

Juan Angel's story

Juan is 80 years old. He never went to school. He is married and his wife takes care of the household chores. They had 8 children who have already formed their own families. A granddaughter who attends school lives with him.

Juna has worked in agriculture since he was 10 years old because his father always took him to the cornfield to learn the trade. Besides that he works in livestock to obtain more income for his family. He has property near his house to work.

His previous Kiva loan served him well to work cattle and he paid the loan on time. He needs a new loan to buy another cow for production and sale of milk.

Juan dreams of having the strength to continue taking care of his family, so that they have the necessary food, health, and a decent home.

This loan is special because:

It helps people older than 60 who still have the capacity to work but no financing.
