Thein Kone (North) – 1 (D) Village Group's story

This group is composed of six village customers: Tin, Phyu, San, Kan, Mya and Khin.

Mya, standing third from the right in the picture, is the featured borrower of Thein Kone (North) – 1 (D) Village Group. She is a smallholder farmer who has been engaged in farming since her childhood, as this was her family's business. Mya is 36 years old and she is blessed with two school-aged daughters.

Like Mya, other members will also use their loan portion to purchase quality seeds and fertilizers and pay the wages of those who help them finish the farm work in time for harvest. Some portion of the loan will be used to buy petrol for running the farming machines.

In this group: Tin, Phyu, San, Kan, Mya, Khin
