Paskazia's Group's story

T. Paskazia is the leader of her lending group in Bushenyi. She is 49 years old and a widow with 4 children aged 20 – 1 year; 3 are in school. Paskazia has had a little grocery shop in Kizinda town for 10 years but moves to different markets in Bushenyi to serve more customers. She is able to make 30,000/= as weekly profit, and she has hopes of owning a store in a big town and educating all her children through to the University.

Paskazia sells general merchandise like sugar, salt, soap, cooking oil and much more, and she needs a loan to be able to purchase more goods for her grocery store for resale. She is a hard-working and determined lady who moves with all her goods to the different markets where people converge once every week.
