A loan of $500 helped to buy a cow and use leftovers from the corn harvest to fatten it.

Oscar Mauricio's story

Oscar completed third grade at school. His partner works as a housekeeper and they have four children. One of them lives away, and those who live at home work in agriculture.

Oscar works in agriculture and livestock. He has more than 27 years of experience in this work and learned it from his parents. In addition he works as a daily farm worker. He does not have a specific work schedule because he is always busy all day.

He needs a loan to buy a cow and use the leftovers of the corn crop to fatten it.

Oscar dreams of continuing to work on what he likes. He wants to have his own plot to work the land and continue to help his family in everything he can.
