A loan of $800 helped to buy corn for making and selling tortillas.

Rosa Maribel's story

Rosa never went to school due to the poverty in her family. She is currently married and has a son.

Rosa has worked selling tortillas for 2 years. She had the idea to start the business because nobody was selling close to her home. She begins her work at 6:00am and ends at 3:00pm.

The funds will be invested in buying corn for making and selling tortillas.

Rosa dreams of having her own home and knows it will not be easy to achieve but also not impossible.
