A loan helped a member to buy sheep to raise and resell, using the profit to take care of his wife and his children.

Waleyouma-Ton N°I Group's story

Oumar is the one who is holding the sheep by the horn in the photo. He is a farmer from Mali, aged 46, married and the father of three children who are aged between 23 years and a year and five months old. His wife takes care of the home.

Oumar raises sheep and has been in this business for a very long time. After learning this trade as a child, he has always loved this business and sees himself as taking part in the economic development of his community.

Oumar buys his animals and supplies in local markets and resells the animals in the same markets. The profit he earns allows him to cover his family's expenses and is estimated at 20,000 XOF per female. Oumar turns to RMCR to develop his business and grow his turnover. He buys several sheep so as to resell them for more income.
