Naseem's story

Naseem is 40 years old and lives with her husband and six children in Muzzafargharh, Pakistan. Her husband is responsible for fulfilling the needs of the family, but Naseem has been running an embroidery business for the last five years to meet other expenses. The family lives in its own house made of brick that has drinking water, electricity, and plumbing. Her embroidery work is very famous in the area, and that is the reason why her business runs well and is growing. Naseem wants to meet the demand for bridal dresses by buying thread, fancy cloth, sequins, and pearls of various colors in advance so she has them in stock. She requires some capital to buy the desired items but does not have sufficient cash on hand. That is why she has humbly requested a loan from BRAC Pakistan. to buy the supplies that she needs. Naseem and her family are grateful to Kiva, its lenders, and field partner BRAC Pakistan for helping them fund this loan to improve their living standards.
