Khurshaid's story

Khurshaid is a 39-year-old, married woman. She is a mother of five children and is living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She has been successfully running a small general store at the corner of her house. She has two years of experience in this field. Her husband assists her by purchasing stock of goods from the market, as he has maintained many contacts in years.

Now, she wants to grow her general store business so she requested a loan to buy packs of salts, biscuits and beverages to meet the increasing demand at her store and enhance it more. She is expecting a boost in her earnings and dreams of expanding her business in the future.

She is in her fourth loan cycle, but it will be the first loan with Kiva. She has shown good repayment behavior.
