Ayaba Claire's story

Ayaba Claire was born around 1971 in Pahou in the Township of Ouidah in the south of Benin. Claire is a widow and the mother of 3 children, all of them still her responsibility. Claire lives with her children in Cotonou, the economic capital of Bénin.

For almost 10 years, Claire has been selling fried fish and condiments used for sauces (fresh and tinned tomatoes, onions, pepper, garlic, okra, sesame seeds, hot peppers, Maggi cubes, etc.) She sells her products in a little shop located in her house. Claire needs to bolster her working capital so that she can better meet the needs of her clientele. This is why Claire has asked for the support of ALIDé.
