Mrs. Yoeung Mok Village Bank Group's story

Thirteen people living I. Serei Duoch village I. Takeo province comprise this village bank loan, and they will use the loan for various purpose. Mrs. Yoeung M. is a 47- year-old village bank president. She is a vet I. the local village. Her husband, Mr. Sum Khorn, is a farmer who owns a piece of land to cultivate rice. I. this plantation, he faces an obstacle because his field is infertile which it is a bad to affect to his crop. I. order to solve this problem, Mrs. Yoeung M. decided to ask for a loan to buy fertilizer to support the field to make her crop more productive. She has three children, one of whom is a teacher I. the local school while another is employed I. a tailor and the remaining helps the parents work.

Eleven members I. this group loans are end-of-term loans and the rest have monthly payment loans. They are not required to pay any principal on the loan until the very end of the loan term. End-of-term (EoT) loans are AMK’s maI. product because it is the most beneficial to Cambodia’s poor. It allows them to repay portions of the principal whenever they are financially able to. Most clients start to make payments many months before the end of the loan term. Almost all of AMK’s clients make their payments on time. AMK has a delinquency rate of only 0.09% and AMK has a default rate of 0% on Kiva.
