Denny's story

Sra. Denny belongs to the Communal Bank “Honestidad y Trabajo” (Honesty and Work), which is located in the District of Juanjui, Mariscal Cáceres Province, Department of San Martín. She is 48 years old, married, and the mother of 4 children, of whom 3 are still dependent on her.

Since she needed a way to contribute to the household income, Sra. Denny was encouraged by her husband to start a business selling bricks. With startup capital of 5000 soles, she gradually started seeing good results from the beginning because of the quality of the bricks and her excellent customer service. Sra. Denny has been in business now for 20 years. She sells the bricks from her farm located far from the city. Her main clients are neighbors, institutions, and her repeat customers.

With her loan of 3000 soles, Sra. Denny will buy tin molds for baking bricks. Part of the money will also be used to pay her staff’s monthly salary.

She is very happy with the work of Manuela Ramos. She thanks the Institution for supporting people like her who want to work and get ahead.
