A loan of $3,675 helped a member working capital.

Guadalupe Group's story

The Guadalupe Group, represented by Ms. Carmen Silvia, is comprised of 16 members who are currently in their second loan cycle. They have demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and above all, the desire to get ahead. The majority of the group members sell bread, empanadas (stuffed pastry), vegetables, mattresses, and groceries. Other members work at a beauty salon, or proviD. cleaning or transportation services. Competition is high, but the members have lots of experience and they know how to move their businesses forward by offering a variety of high quality products. They need this loan in order to increase their working capital to purchase merchandise, supplies, and materials so that they can keep generating better profits, which translates into better opportunities for their families. For this reason, they are very grateful for the trust they have been given to keep working with the institution more vigorously.
