A loan of $1,000 helped to buy spare parts for the vehicle he uses for trips to residents, and to serve his metal structures workshop.

José Dimas's story

Jose is 41 and went to school until ninth grade. He's single but has five children, of whom three depend on him. The other have their own homes.

Jose earns a living through mental structures. He makes doors and windows, among other things. He has seven years of experience in the workshop, which is in his home.

He also has a vehicle he uses for trips to take people where they want to go, because there are times when there's not a lot of work and it serves as extra income.

The funds he's seeking will be invested to buy spare parts for the vehicle he uses to make trips for residents, and will also serve for his metal workshop. His vehicle will be affected by failure to service it.

Jose wants to buy a truck in the future, as there are times he has large projects and the vehicle he has isn't sufficient.
