Nancy Olinda's story

Sra. Nancy is a member of the Communal Bank “Señor de la Justicia” (Lord of Justice), which is located in the city of Puno, Puno Province, Department of Puno. She is 40 years old, married, and the mother of 3 children. Sra. Nancy has a degree in Social Work and lives in the neighborhood of Independencia.

She has been working with Manuela Ramos for 8 years. Her first loan of 300 soles was used as capital for her business of buying and selling clothes.

She is now requesting another loan in the amount of 1300 soles to purchase rice, sugar, oil, milk, sodas, and other items for her grocery store – the business she operates now.

She hopes to open a well-stocked grocery store in the central part of town. Sra. Nancy enjoys the low interest rates and the confidence Manuela Ramos has in its members.
