A loan helped to start up a clothing business.

Nino's story

Nino is 31 years old and a married woman. She lives in Kutaisi city in the western part of Georgia. Her only source of income is small money transfers sent by her husband and mother, who live and work abroad.

Nino decided to start a business to get a stable income and has requested a loan. The Start Up program, which is a joint initiative between Kiva and Credo, enables her to get a loan of 4,000 GEL to begin selling clothing and home products. She plans to purchase the products at wholesale prices and then resell them among her friends and villagers.

When she starts her business, she will increase her income and improve her living conditions. Nino awaits your support.
