Teresa's story

Sra. Teresa G. C. is 45 years old and lives in the District of Porvenir, Trujillo Province, Department of La Libertad – Perú. She belongs to the Communal Bank “Semillitas Creativas”.

This entrepreneur completed her education through the 5th year of secondary school. She has 3 dependent children.

Teresa designs and manufacturers footwear in her small workshop, which is located in her home. Her first loan of 300 PEN was used to buy materials for making shoes, sandals, slippers, and handbags. These items included leather, soles, suede, patterns, buckles, etc.

Teresa will use her new loan in the amount of 700 PEN to purchase more materials for making footwear and handbags. She dreams of having her own booth at a shopping center in Trujillo where she can sell shoes wholesale and retail.
