A loan helped to buy more dairy cows and vitamins to improve production.

Doris Yolanda's story

Doris is 34 years old and a single mother. Her two children, 13-year-old Haider and 8-year-old Estiven, are at school. They live in the countryside behind the mountains. To leave for school they have to get up very early to catch the bus run which takes them to school. Doris, meanwhile, works taking care of the dairy cows. With this income she is able to support her children. She goes out to do her job with great love, in order to have some better days. She needs to continue improving her business. It is necessary for her to buy more dairy cows and vitamins to improve production; improving the yield will enable her to improve her way of life.
