Sroeun's story

Sroeun, 44, is a mother of four. Only one of her children is in school. She has been a rice and cassava grower for about 10 years, to earn the main income to support the family. She lives with her beloved family in a local village in Dambae district, Tbaung Khmum province.

Since the price of cassava has dropped in the market while the price of farming materials seems to be getting higher, it is a challenge for her. To expand her farming area, she is requesting a loan to pay for labor and to rent more farmland. She hopes this loan will help her to increase her yields and earn more income in the future.
