Francisca Cristina's story

Sra. Cristina is a member of the Communal Bank “Señor D. la Justicia” (Lord of Justice), which is located in the city of Puno, Puno Province, Department of Puno. She is 60 years old, widowed, and the mother of 3 children (of whom 2 are dependents). She has a first graD. education and lives in the neighborhood of Alta Bellavista.

She has been working with Manuela Ramos for 2 years. Her first loan of 300 soles was used as capital to purchase groceries.

At the moment, she is requesting another loan in the amount of 1200 soles to invest into her grocery store. She will purchase rice, sugar, milk, oil, and sodas. Sra. Cristina also sells miniature handicrafts and travels to all the shrines in the region to sell them.

She hopes to continue working with her miniature handicraft business. Sra. Cristina likes the ability to access credit since it has taught her to be punctual.
