A loan of $350 helped purchase fertilzers and plant nutrients to maintain his crop of lima beans.

Emilio's story

Emilio is a 60 year old farmer. He lives with his wife, son, and grandchildren in the Sialupe Baca region, located near the district of Mórrope which is 40 minutes away from the city of Chiclayo.

He has devoted almost his entire life to agriculture and depends on it to support his family. He possesses one hectare of land on which he and his son grow their crops. For this season, they have planted lima beans.

Emilio and his son tend to their crops on a daily basis to ensure a good harvest. The beans were planted two months ago and now he is requesting a loan of 1000 soles from our Institution to buy fertilizers and plant nutrients.

Emilio desires to give his family a better quality of life and generate enough income that will allow him to continue cultivating his plot of land. He would also like to provide for his grandchildren’s education so that they will have a better future.

Emilio has already worked with our Institution and received three previous loans. He has demonstrated that he is a punctual and responsible client.
