A loan helped to buy groceries and coal to sell.

Maria Elena's story

Maria has now had a shop for a number of years. She started it with only a few things, such as juices, water and Ricitos snacks. Seeing that these products sold, she decided to start investing a little more in other products until her shop started to grow. A year ago, Maria started selling coal. She began with just a little to sell in the shop. Then she started to buy a few hundredweights to sell in the market. This gave Maria regular customers and now she has two business: the shop, and the coal selling business.

Maria wants to use this loan to buy more products for her shop, plus coal to cover customer demand.

Maria wants her business to expand and to be able to maintain her household and support her daughter in her studies, as well as leave her a good inheritance. Maria sends blessings to all those who are part of the Kiva family.
