A loan helped to purchase more cloth and a machine to do her tailoring service.

Hà's story

Mrs. Hà is 24 years old and she is married with no children. Hà lives in Tinh Gia district, a semi-urban town in Thanh Hoa province. She has had a service business tailoring clothes for two years. Her family is a low-income household in the village; moreover, the income from this business is not high enough to do what she really needs to comfort her life.

The main hardship that Hà faces is lack of capital. She is requesting a loan to purchase more cloth and a machine to do her tailoring service.

Although this is her first loan with Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution, all members agreed to vote her to be the leader of a solidarity group.

Along with her business to profit, Hà hopes for her business to do well, to build a new house, and to be able to buy more supplies and equipment for her business.

This loan is special because:

It empowers female entrepreueurs living in remote rural communities.
