A loan of $525 helped purchase of rice by the sack for resale.

Rosa Del Milagro's story

Rosa is married, has three children, and lives with her husband and her elderly parents in the young town of Jesus the Savior, located in the district of Monsefú 20 minutes from the city of Chiclayo.

She has worked for a year buying and selling rice which is one of the products of greatest consumption in the homes of Peru. This business has allowed her to help her husband with the daily household expenses since he works in civil construction and the income this work provides is not sufficient to maintain the home.

Due to the constant demand she is thinking about expanding her business by buying more rice, for which she is requesting a loan of 1500 new sols. Previously Rosa has had five loans which she has repaid punctually.

Rosa desires to continue helping her family advance by working in her business and so be able to offer them a better quality of life.
