Rosa's story

Rosa, age 23, is young, very happy and a worker. She lives in her parents’ house, and she wants to help with the household expenses. That’s why she is determined to work very hard. Rosa’s cheese stand is located in the Santa Bárbara Market (an important market in the city of Juliaca). She is a very charismatic and candid saleswoman who always waits on her customers with a smile on her lips. What she likes most about her business is conversing with her neighbors in the market. She has been involved in this activity for three years and considers the most difficult part of her job obtaining the tastiest cheeses since she has a well-earned reputation and people know her cheeses are highly sought-after. In the near future, she hopes to have a very large shop in which she can sell many more products and, thus, improve her income so that she can give her parents a peaceful old age.

This is Rosa’s fourth loan with MFP, and she is committed to making her payments on time, just as she has done with prior loans. She is a very happy person and beloved in her community bank, and she hopes to be able to continue working well with all her colleagues. She plans to invest the 1000 New Soles applied for in the purchase of more cheeses with which she hopes to increase her earnings.
