A loan of $700 helped to buy groceries in order to expand and stock her products.

Emerita's story

Ms. Emerita is a member of the community bank "Doradinas en Acción.” She lives in the department and province of San Martin in the district of Bellavista. She is 40 years old and lives with her partner. Ms. Emerita works very hard every day to support her son who depends on her.

Her enterprising spirit and love for her family motivated her to open her own grocery store. It grew little by little and Ms. Emerita gained experience in this type of activity. She has made herself well-known and liked by her customers. Currently Ms. Emerita has regular clients that stop by her store daily to buy everything a housewife needs. Ms. Emerita personally attends to each of them with joy and enthusiasm.

With this loan of 2,000.00 S she will buy bags of rice and sugar, packets of beans, different brands of boxed milk and boxes of canned fish, eggs, and personal hygiene products. With these products she will be able to continue giving superior service to her clients.

Emerita is very grateful to the Movimiento Manuela Ramos and hopes to continue achieving her goals and dreams.
