Mery's story

Ms Mery is a member of “February 6th” Community Bank located in the Llave district, in the province of El Callao, in the department of Puno. She is 25 years old, single and doesn’t have children. She has completed her secondary school education. She lives in the community of San Miguel.
She has worked for the Manuela Ramos Movement for three years. Her first loan was for 300 soles. She used this money to buy alpaca yarn.
Currently she is asking for a loan of 1,000 new soles. This loan will be used to buy alpaca yarn that is sold in Juliaca, Arequipa and Lima. Mery also sells cheese in the market in Llave.
One of the largest dreams that Mery has is to start a large business where she sells yarn at a wholesale level. This fiber would be sold to textile factories.
Mery likes meetings where people share different experiences. She also enjoys training presentations.
