A loan of $600 helped to buy dairy products to continue selling.

José David's story

José is 23 years old and is married but do not yet have children. He studied only until 9th grade due to his limited financial resources. His wife works in a small dairy products store they have at home.

José learned from his wife to sell dairy products and has been working on this area for 2 years. This appears to be a profitable business as this way they make enough income to cover the household expenses. Monday through Saturday, José also works as a day laborer.

In addition to selling dairy products in the store he goes out to sell door to door in his bicycle. He works as a laborer from 5am until 1pm, and then goes out selling dairy products 3 times a week.

José will use the loan to buy more dairy products to continue selling.

He wants to expand the store and sell basic grains as well.
