Shamshad's story

Shamshad is a 52-year-old married woman. She is the mother of five children, living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan, with her spouse. She is standing with her husband.

She wants to take a loan to support her husband; he is a street hawker, selling kids snack items on the street corner. His daily practice is to carry inventories, many kinds of snacks from wholesalers. He sells it on the street corner on his bicycle.

Now he wants to enhance his selling kids snack item business, but he does not have cash on hand because most of his savings are spent on household expenses.

Therefore, Shamstad has requested a Kiva loan so that her husband can enhance his this business. She hopes that her husband will easily establish his business, contribute in household expenses and earn more income.
